Die guten Motive liegen oft so nah. Im Kurs von Erwin Kastner in der Kunstfabrik Hannover haben wir letzte Woche die Bäume direkt vor der Tür gezeichnet und anschließend im Atelier gemalt. Inspiriert von Erwins Style - aber doch mein eigener.

Two Oaks

The good motifs are often too close. It was last week when I took part in Erwin Kastner's workshop at the Kunstfabrik. We found the trees directly in front of our door worth sketching and painting. Inspired by Erwins style - but yet my own.

2153 Kuh-Tipps (Bild der Woche #8)

Dieses Bild durfte ich für das Buch ein zweites Mal malen, damit es "Schritt-für-Schritt" in seiner Entstehung dokumentiert wurde. Da es immer nur ein "Original" gibt, bleibt dieses unverkäuflich. Lernziel des Bildes ist das Malen von Fell sowie der Kontrast zwischen scharf und unscharf.

This painting I was asked to paint a second time for my book. So I could  proof its creaton step-by-step. Since there is always only one "original", this remains NFS.

The learning goal of the painting was fur-structure as well as the contrast between sharp and blurred.
