Nebelwald

Der Nebel wallt im Nebelwald. Besonders im tropischen. Farne, Moose und Flechten hängen von den Bäumen herab und »das Tier« (wie unser Dschungel-Mitwanderer auf Réunion den Nebel gern bezeichnet) senkt sich darnieder. 

Cloud Forest
The mist wells down to the tropical cloud forest. Ferns, mosses and lichens are hanging down from the trees and »the animal« (like our jungle fellow hiker often called the Réunion fog) sinks down upon the trees.

On the Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, everything is easy going. The houses are colorful and often have corrugated iron roofs. Even 9.000 km away you pay everything with Euros, as the island is a French overseas department.
