Die Chevrolet Bel Air Baureihe von 1958 waren Sechszylindermodelle und hatten den vom Vorgänger bekannten 3.8 Liter Reihenmotor mit 145 PS. In der Serie 1800 waren sechs verschiedene V8-Motoren lieferbar auf Basis eines 4.6 Liter mit 185 PS*.

Das ist total interessant, gell?

The Chevrolet Bel Air series from 1958 were six-cylinder models and had the known from 3.8 liter engines with 145 hp. In the 1800 series, six different V8 engines were available based on a 4.6 liter with 185 hp*.

Manchmal frage ich mich, was ich eigentlich malen sollte.

In diesem Fall male ich ein Auto.

Warum die Nummer 13?

Aberglaube? Angst? Verzweiflung? Keine bessere Idee?

Nun, manchmal ist ein Auto einfach ein Auto.

Sometimes I wonder what I am about to paint.

In this case, I painted a car.

But why the number 13?

Superstition? Anxiety? Despair? No better idea?

Well, sometimes a car is just a car.

Habe dort bei bombastischen Temperaturen dort mit netten Teilnehmern skizziert. Aber ich habe die Bilder noch nicht abfotografiert.

Darum gibt es heute "nur" ein paar Skizzen aus Hannover aus meiner direkten Nachbarschaft.

Yesterday I was teaching a my sketching workshop in Oldenburg.

My students were all behaving and we sketched the city in bombastic hot temperatures. But I have my sketched not yet photographed.

Sonntag war ich zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben in einem Mercedes Autohaus. Magisch angelockt wurde ich von den in der ersten Etage ausgestellten Classic Cars, die ich schon seit Jahren immer von der Straße aus beim Warten an der Ampel gesehen hatte. 

Sunday I visited for the first time in my life a Mercedes car dealer. I was magically attracted by some classic cars on the first floor, which I had been seeing from the street for years while waiting at the traffic lights.
