Dies ist ein ziemlich neues, kultiges Viertel in einem ehemaligen Fabrikgelände. Hier gibt es zahlreiche Fressstationen, aber auch Designläden und vieles, was ART im Namen trägt. Spektakulär ist auf jeden Fall der Blick auf die Brücke des 25. April, welche der Golden Gate Bridge ähnelt. 

This is a rather new, cult district in a former factory site. Here there are numerous feeding stations, but also design shops and much of what ART carries in its name. The view of the bridge on 25 April, which resembles the Golden Gate Bridge, is definitely spectacular.

Die berühmte Linie 28 fährt wegen Bauarbeiten ihre normale Strecke momentan nicht. Am Bahnwärterhäuschen ist Schluss und es geht zurück.

The famous line 28 is currently not running its normal route due to construction work. It's over at the railway attendant's house house and we're going back.

Die Leute in Lissabon sind alle außergewoehnlich nett. Die meisten jüngeren Leute sprechen gutes englisch und viele auch franzoesisch. Aber am liebsten quatschen sie ununterbrochen auf portugiesisch in ihr Mobilphone.

The people in Lisbon are all exceptionally nice. Most of the younger people speak good English and many also French. But they prefer to talk into their mobile phones in Portuguese all the time.

Am nächsten Platz fährt die Bica-Bahn (eine Cable-Car) den Berg rauf. In der Barbica haben wir in der Sonne ein paar Tapas und danach Kaffee und Kuchen genossen. Der Besitzer ist ein toller Urban Sketcher und er zeigte uns einige seiner Arbeiten.

At the next place the Bica (a cable car) goes up the mountain. In the barbica we enjoyed some tapas in the sun and afterwards coffee and cake. The owner is a great urban sketcher and he showed us some of his work.

Today is my first day in Lisbon. After a late flight we arrived in the sun and drank a Galaos coffee with milk in the A Brasileira.

Ein Triptychon heißt, dass es drei zusammengehörige Teile gibt.

Besonders beliebt war und ist das Format in der Kirche, wo man am Altar die rechten und linken Bildteile schön zusammenklappen kann. Das meist besonders prachtvolle Bild in der Mitte wird geschützt und wartet, bis es wieder mal gelüftet werden darf.

A triptych means that there are three parts belonging together.

Particularly popular was and is this layout in churches, where the right and left parts of the painting can be folded up nicely at the altar. The usually splendid middle painting will be protected and is waiting to be ventilated again.

Gestern bei boesner bei der Vorführung ergab es sich dann noch, dass ich am Schluss unser schönes Hannoveraner Neue Rathaus ge-acryl-sketcht habe. Mal-Zeit eine halbe Stunde.
